How to Connect Your Azure OpenAI Assistant to Superinterface
Azure OpenAI provides a cloud-based platform that allows you to use powerful AI models, including assistance for real-time conversation, text generation, and custom functions. By connecting your Azure OpenAI assistant to Superinterface, you can easily incorporate these capabilities into your projects without having to build everything from scratch.
This guide will walk you through how to connect an existing Azure OpenAI assistant to Superinterface.
Step 1: Prepare and Retrieve Connection Details from Azure AI Studio
Retrieve the endpoint and API key.
Make sure you already have an Azure OpenAI assistant set up in Azure AI Studio. To proceed, you’ll need the Endpoint and API Key from your assistant’s configuration:
Find and select your existing Azure OpenAI assistant.
Click View Code at the top of the page to open the assistant's code details.
Scroll down to find the Endpoint and API Key fields.
Click the copy icon next to each field to copy the values.
Step 2: Add Endpoint and API Key to Superinterface
Paste the endpoint and API key to your Assistant in Superinterface.
Go to the Assistants tab on Superinterface and either select an existing assistant or click New Assistant to create a new one.
Paste the copied Endpoint into the Endpoint field.
Paste the copied API Key into the API Key field.
Click Save on Superinterface to apply the settings.
After a few seconds, your connection will be validated. You should no longer see any warnings about Azure OpenAI not being set up.
Confirm that Azure OpenAI is selected in the AI Provider section, and ensure Azure OpenAI Assistance is set in the Threat Storage and Run Execution options.
Step 3: Sync with Your Azure Assistant
Select and Sync Your Assistant
Sync your assistant settings.
Go to the AI Provider section and click Open AI Assistant. You will see a list of your available Azure OpenAI assistants.
Choose the assistant you want to connect (e.g., "Assistant 913").
Click Sync from OpenAI to pull in the assistant’s name, instructions, and configurations from Azure OpenAI to Superinterface.
Click Save to complete the integration.
Step 4: Test Your Assistant on Superinterface
Once your assistant is connected, try interacting with it directly through Superinterface.
Open the chat interface for your newly connected assistant.
Send a message, and confirm that it responds as expected.
Your Azure OpenAI assistant is now ready to use, fully integrated with Superinterface.
